The Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM) established in 1974,
is a professional organization for epidemiologists, community medicine, family
medicine, and public health specialists in India. With over 8000 members from across
the country, the association provides a platform to exchange ideas and experiences, to
develop new strategies and programs for disease prevention and health promotion, and
advocate for policies that improve the health of the population. The association also
conducts conferences, seminars, workshops, and training programs regularly, to update
the knowledge and skills in various areas of public health. It also publishes three, peer-
reviewed quarterly scientific journal which publishes various research articles related
